My friend dear reader,
how are you? how was your week? I hope you had a smooth work week and an even smoother weekend so far. Speaking of smooth: our club is smoothly growing and I love this for us! Thank you for all your support and friendly feedback so far, I already got the feeling we are a pretty awesome club!
If you enjoy THE INSPIRATION CLUB, it would mean the world to me if you invited friends to subscribe and read with us. I had an idea! If you refer friends, you’ll get a little personal treat from me. Sounds good?

Now let’s get it on with some Inspiration I’ve collected this week:
GRANDE FASHION MOMENTS
Although I don’t own one single Jacquemus piece I absolutely adore what Simon is doing. His creative ideas, the venues, the background stories, the fits have my whole heart. Love the new “Les Sculptures” collection. Also: JULIA!! The first thing I thought when seeing her attending the show: how can anyone look so gorgeous smiling? That smile warmed something inside of me. Big inspo this week.
If you haven’t watched the Maison Margiela Artisanal 2024 collection (in collab with J.P. Gaultier) DO IT NOW!! This was by far the most entertaining, artistic, mesmerizing fashion shows I’ve seen in Y E A R S. And hearing one of my favorite Adele songs was the icing of the cake.
LOOK
My Sale Order arrived and as hoped it’s not as disastrous for my bank account since I’ll return 50%. But I decided to keep these two items:
Last week I promised to re-style this look from last year and here we go. Been wearing these Closed Trousers 3 times this week (they are currently on Sale if you’re interested) and I love dark greenish color a lot.
NEW DILEMMA
Just when I thought my retail therapy is over, THESE came along. I got more and more the feeling that I’m a Shoe Girl instead of a Bag Girl since I primarily fall head over heels (pun intended) in love with shoes. What about you?
So a few questions pop up in my head after seeing these Prada Mules:
Why oh why did I see them
Why oh why are they so expensive
Do I choose black or chocolate?
Why do I only fall in love with expensive shit
IN MY METAL ERA
I don’t like Metal Music but I’m obsessed with metal tableware. At HOUSE OF AUSTER we’ve been sourcing and scouting Vintage Silver & Stainless Steel Treasures for quite some time now and I think it looks soooo beautiful in a modern home. It’s all about the contrast. We just launched our Drop N°2 today so check it out if you are in a metal era too

Whenever I’m at the ceramic studio I listen to tons of Podcasts. Depends on the mood I like True Crime Podcasts, Educational or Entertaining Podcasts. Here are my weekly favorites:

Overstimulation via Social Media (+ ways out)
How to get and stay inspired
Loosing yourself and how to finding your identity again
How tragic and low moments can make you grow
Why a Capsule Wardrobe is my religion
Drop me your favorite (or other suggestions) in the comments, will you? So that’s it for now. Talk to you soon my friend dear reader.
xx,
Carola
Btw I saw the Prada mules on Instagram and saved them. If I would be willing to spend this amount I would go for the brown ones.
The topic ‚Loosing yourself and how to finding your identity again‘ is at the moment really interesting for me. At the beginning of november 2023 I gave birth to our daughter. Since a few weeks I am asking myself how to find my identity as a woman again.
